The Shearing Department is responsible for providing material to the Punching Department. When material arrives from one of our suppliers, it is inspected and staged in the proper location. Some projects require that the sheets be cut into smaller pieces.

Personal equipment used includes safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and helmet when driving the forklift.

Inspection equipment used includes verniers, micrometers, squares, height gages, and tape measures.
